Statement under Turkish KVKK

This statement is made by Master Rowing Club as data controller under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698). For EU visitors, equivalent rights apply under GDPR.

Purposes of processing

Personal data is processed for membership registration, training planning, event organisation and the running of corporate programmes such as Bursa Dragon Cup.

Health and safety information (emergency contact, health declaration) is collected only when required and used solely for this purpose.

Necessary records are kept under legal obligations (tax, social security, insurance).

Transfers

Personal data is not transferred to third parties except: to public authorities where legally required; to service providers strictly for the performance of services; to sponsors and partners with your explicit consent.

Collection method and legal basis

Data is collected via contact forms, membership contracts, email correspondence, phone calls and event registration forms.

Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/2 (contractual necessity), explicit consent (for marketing), legal obligation (tax / social security).

Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the rights to: know whether your data is being processed; request information about processing; learn the purposes and recipients; correct inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under Art. 7 conditions.
